1. I am having difficulty understanding Sydenham's 'Constitution'. Any explanation or addition of context perhaps would be helpful.

2. Also, what does Foucault refer to specifically as "medecine of species?"

    not familiar with Sydenham so i can't help u there...

    re "medicine of the species"....
    man, it's been a while, but in general, Foucault was always a huge critic of the how medicine evolved in the 18th or so century. he was speaking out against how the patient was dehumanized during the process, poked & probed all for the sake of science & progress.

    i'm sure other people can give u more details as to the specifics...if not, googling won't hurt.
